(More customer reviews)We were very disappointed in the Adapter disk. Yes, it allowed us to use non-magnetic cookware. However, there was a tremendous reduction in speed of heating. We compared time to boiling using a magnetic saucepan and 2 cups of tap water. It took 4 times as long to boil water using the adapter disk than not using it. It also took longer for the water to boil using the adapter disk on the induction cooktop than heating it on a standard electric coil ccoktop at medium high heat. The cooktop works fine.
