(More customer reviews)This item is very useful for camping, especially if you are a creative cook. It works wonderfully for toasted sandwiches, individual pies, mini-pizzas, and makes a great variation on smores. You're only limited by your imagination, and by whatever tastes good in a crust.
The actual pie iron is a good size, easily fitting two pieces of bread with lots of filling, and the length is sufficient for any normal campfires.
It does feel a little bit loose, though I have yet to experience any problems as a result of this.
