I have used mine for meat & veg dishes started on the stove top for browning, and then finished low and slow in the oven. The meat turns out incredibly moist, and the entire dish cooks up perfectly with very little effort. It is also one of the easiest pieces I own to clean.
The one important piece of advice I would give, don't skip the seasoning step. This seals the clay so that it doesn't absorb flavors and odors. Perfect. I truly can not find one fault in this piece of cookware.
