(More customer reviews)I use this grill pretty often for fish and I'm definitely happy with the results. You get the top & bottom going at once so it reduces the cook time, and not having to flip anything over is nice. Foods are very flavorful, and any issues I've had are user-error (ie. I overestimated how long something needed to cook). It doesn't take terribly long to get into a rhythm where you know exactly how long your favorite food needs to be in the roaster. I've had it a few months and the smoke & odor from the unit is pretty limited. Sometimes there's a faint smell of whatever is cooking, but I think that's to be expected (and actually pleasant; part of eating is smelling).
It's not particularly big, but I can still get three or four filets on it at once, and if you're short on counter space the footprint is pretty small which is a plus. I like that the height is adjustable; helps to create a little more space if you have some bigger foods in it. Haven't noticed any severe staining, but I try to clean it right after using it. Even so, it really seems easier to wipe clean than some of the other roasters I've used.
For it's purposes this is a really nice roaster that can handle a variety of foods. Great price, too.
