(More customer reviews)I had been looking locally for a clay pot and just couldn't find any. There are several offered here on Amazon, and to tell you the truth, I chose this one because I liked the design, lol. I had never used a clay pot before and the first thing I cooked was a whole chicken. It came out incredibly moist and tender. I then cooked a beef stew. Better than my usual, but not as good as the chicken (but I suspect that was due more to the cook than the cooker.) I would definitely recommend clay pot cooking to anyone who hasn't tried it. Btw, the pot I got is quite large and unless you are cooking a turkey or for a very large family, you might prefer a smaller size. Also, be prepared to pay a small fortune for shipping!
