(More customer reviews)I have had mine for almost 2 years, and I feel it's the best rice cooker I ever purchased. There are settings for white rice, brown rice, sweet rice, porridge and quick white rice if you're in a hurry. For the white and brown rice, you can also set a timer for when you want the rice finished.
The Tiger has worked well for everything from short grained Calrose (white and brown) to long grained Basmati (white and brown). Also sweet rice (on it's own setting), red and wild rice, nude barley, rye and other whole grains (use the brown rice setting) have all turned out well. For wild rice, fill the water to about 1/16" or 1.5 MM over the line.
