I really enjoy going to the market and purchasing fresh seasonal vegetables to cook so that we can have something different every night. Cooking with this steamer is such a breeze too. All I do is add my vegetables, full the reservoir with water and set the timer. It leaves me free to cook the rest of the meal while the fresh vegetables cook to perfection. When I cook rice, I add rice directly to the stainless steel basket and put it at the lowest tier. Even my picky children love the vegetables and rice I have been cooking with this food steamer and it makes me happy to provide them with healthier foods to eat every night.
